Free Comic Book Day returns to Ground Zero!
Wow – hard to believe, but it’s been 27 months since we last hosted a single day Free Comic Book Day extravaganza inside the store. That’s 833 very interesting days, for those of you keeping count.
We think that’s long enough, so on Saturday from 10AM until 3PM, we’ll be offering a limited selection of Free Comic Book Day titles for you to choose from.
With Covid infections on the rise in Smith County, we want to ensure that this year’s Free Comic Book Day is as safe as possible so the first and most important thing for you to remember IS:

MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED INSIDE GROUND ZERO ON AUGUST 14TH.
There will be no exceptions to this. We understand that many of you are vaccinated which is fantastic and we really appreciate you doing your part. However, with a larger group of people under one roof, the safest thing is for EVERYBODY to be masked. We very much appreciate your cooperation in this.
Beyond that, things will work much like they have in the past – each person will be allowed to choose up to three comics from our FCBD selection and there will special drawings for a couple of ultra hot Free Comic Book Day titles!
So come for the free comics or just come to watch us get yelled at over the Masks thing.
